Besides the fact that she seems to think that people know that their children are going to be evil, so they make sure to give them villain names. Uh, other than Tom Riddle. All of the other bad people in the series were apparently given evil names by their parents.

To be fair, fighting a villain with a dull name might not seem as exciting. It reminds me of a GURPS game that I was once a part of where one of the main villains, a necromancer who worshipped demons, was named Rodney. The GM staunchly defended his name choice by pointing out that Rodney's parents weren't exactly expecting him to turn out that way. Still, I had a hard time not picturing him as Rodney McKay from Stargate Atlantis.
